In regards to my digital artwork - the computer and has opened up a whole new world for me of forms, possibilities, and new ways of seeing!

It also has allowed me to marry my interest in art with an appreciation for crafts and the handmade.

In addition, it has allowed me to experiment with the basic building blocks of art, line, shape, texture, pattern, and color.

In regards to subject matter, I love to work with geometric shapes, still life, flowers, landscape, animals, and the human figure.

I offer unique designs that can be used for Scrabble, Glass, Domino, Microscope Slide Pendants, Bottle Cap Jewelry, ACT/ ACEO Backgrounds, Mixed Media Collage, and many other crafts.

Yoga Asana Series: 8" x 10" inch Fine Art Prints

My latest digital artwork is a series of Yoga Asana or (Yoga Postures).

Inspiration for the Series:

I've always admired dance, sports, acrobats, and the human body in various postures and states - not only because of the endless possibilities that it allows to play with form, but also because the figure is so able to translate energy and inner states of being.

So naturally, while watching my wife practice her daily Yoga routine I took some pictures with my digital camera and thought about how I could capture this beautiful and dynamic form of exercise.

In the Yoga Asana Series, I experiment solely with the use of flat geometric forms, repeating circular patterns, and the simple aesthetics of the silhouetted form.

The larger circle in which the central figure is contained is based on the idea of the Mandala. Mandala in Sanskrit can be translated as "completion" and represents wholeness and can be a metaphor for an integrated view of life and how we are connected to the environment and the world that surrounds us.

In addition, the circular forms inside some of the silhouettes may suggest energy centers or ‘chakras' that run along the spine and the central nervous system.

I also want each Yoga Asana piece to serve as a personal amulet or good-luck charm for a more wholesome and integrated life; thus I use symbolic color harmonies to match the title of each piece.

Each Yoga Asana Bookmarks is cut and assembled by me in my studio and is made with high quality archival paper and lightfast printer inks.

Bookmarks are signed on the backside and shipped in a clear Acid-Free protective sleeve along with a matching colored tassel.

Yoga Asana Microscope Slide Pendants: 1" x 3" inches

One Inch Microscope Slide Pendants:

Sun Mandala and Starburst Series:

A series of abstract and decorative 1" x 1" inch signed prints framed by a pre-soldered and hinged memory frame placed between 2 pieces of microscope slide glass.

Each print is printed, cut, and assembled by me in my studio and is made with  high quality archival paper and lightfast printer inks.

Each double-sided pendant (front and back) can be custom ordered from my online store with your choice of any 2 designs from the series.

All pendants include an 18" inch black leather necklace and customizable 24" inch silver-plated ball chain (included as a bonus).

Beachscapes: Limited Edition ACEO Prints

Beachscapes is a series of Limited Edition ACEO Prints using vacation photographs as a reference and incorporating various digital painting and image-manipulation techniques.
